Seeing Kelly Prehn at Venice Film Festival draped in golden Giorgio Armani; shining from a huge billboard in New York’s Times Square, or flying the world with her beautiful, adopted dog Winston, the British model looks like a girl with a charmed life.
Until now, Kelly kept the real reason for her motivation and strength a secret.
While working as a fashion model, with a world class agency, she was flown to another country, where her passport was removed. There, she was forced to shoot thousands of pieces of clothes for a fashion brand. “I felt helpless and scared. The production team ran as a frantic machine, shooting all days and nights. Stylists grabbed at my clothes and hairdressers ripped my hair. My phone didn’t work. I couldn’t reach anyone to get me out, and no one in the crew would help. They told me I had been ‘sold’, like a product, from a ‘mother agent’, to another agent. This agent locked me into indentured servitude, having generated a huge unexplained ‘debt’. I felt in grave danger. Exhausted, I fainted on set. They propped me up and re-layered more makeup. I was dehumanized.”
Kelly Prehn photographed in Japan this week, supported by girls thanking her for inspiring them to overcome challenges and reach their goals.
Kelly says the caring reaction to the reveal this week in Tokyo, Japan, surprised her, as she “never expected people to connect with it so much.” The model feared people would think her foolish and naive to have allowed herself to be taken advantage of, and the fact women are understanding and supportive shocks her.
Kelly Prehn spotted at Meiji Jingu Shrine, Tokyo this week, where she studied Shinto energy practices after her ordeal.

After her ordeal, Kelly hit rock bottom. She fell into depression and anxiety. Her fashion dream and life became a nightmare.
“I crumbled. I lost faith in people, and worst of all – in myself.”
To recover, Kelly tried Western therapies, before focusing on harnessing Japanese energetic spirituality. Becoming the muse of Shu Uemura, gave unique access to Japanese culture. Kelly eagerly studied with masters in Japan and across Asia – where she lives.

Feeling frustrated? Late? FOMO?
Seems everyone has it figured out except for you?
Solution: Have faith that energy is right and timing is always perfect. Make daily steps to your goals. Move in flow, not force.
5. Focus on the energy of what you want
